Here’s how a TikTok video could potentially cost Ohio QB over $90 million
A simple TikTok video could end up costing an Ohio quarterback some serious cash.
Cleveland Browns QB Deshaun Watson is guaranteed $92 million over the next three years as part of his contract with the Cleveland Browns, but–according to multiple sources, including a post from SB Nation’s dedicated Browns website, Dawgs by Nature–a video he posted to his TikTok, that contract could, hypotehtically, be nullified.
On Dec. 26, Watson posted a seemingly benign video of him and his partner outside of their car, but the 14-second clip depicts the Browns QB without a walking boot, following an achilles tear he suffered in October.

While the terms in his deal aren’t clear, if Watson was obligated to wear a walking boot by team doctors (this is his second achilles tear as well), the Browns could hypothetically void his remaining guaranteed money.
Would they actually do this? Who knows. In the meantime, we’ll look on the brighter side of things and soak up the rest of the Buckeyes National Championship victory.
