Kasich receives endorsement from Alabama governor
Ohio governor John Kasich’s campaign for the Republican presidential nomination today will receive the endorsement of a fellow state chief executive. Kasich will appear in Birmingham, Alabama with Robert Bentley on Monday to publicly receive the governor’s backing. Bentley called Kasich last week to offer his endorsement and the arrangements were made for today’s Alabama appearance. Afterwards, JK will fly to South Carolina to file paperwork to be on the ballot in that state’s GOP presidential primary. (jj)
