I-70W project begins on city’s far West Side
Road crews are beginning work today to widen a portion of I-70 on the city’s West Side. Work on the project, expected to last into 2017, includes an expansion of the roadway and the construction of noise walls along the freeway between I-270 and Hilliard-Rome Road.
ODOT will begin today on I-70W with work on I-70E slated to begin at some point next year. This week, crews will put a lane in place on the shoulder of I-70W. Traffic will likely begin using that temporary lane later this week. (jj)
