Record-setting crowd expected for Crew SC tonight

The Columbus Crew SC is looking forward to Sunday night and their hosting of the First Leg of the Eastern Conference Championships. Fans are just as excited.

A record number of spectators is expected to turn out at MAPFRE Stadium to watch Crew SC take on the New York Red Bulls.

The club has expanded seating capacity with the addition of temporary bleachers. Considering the standard seating, the temporary seating and standing room only admissions, there is not a ticket left to be had. This will be the team’s first home sell-out post-season match in franchise history.

*Probably not why so many tickets were sold, but definitely worth noting….Sunday’s match will offer half-price beers through the end of the first half. If I were you, I’d hate to find that out after the fact.
