More manufactured outrage against Starbucks

From the mindset that had people upset over plain red cups comes a new thing for people to be furious(!) about.
Today, folks on the internet are angry about polar bear cookies being sold at Starbucks. They say that the red scarf being sported by the bear actually makes it appear that the bear has had his / her throat cut. And that clearly(!) Starbucks isn’t being sensitive to animal rights abuses.
Oh…okay?
Two problems with that argument:
- Starbucks has heard the claim before and denied it years ago.
- Starbucks hasn’t actually sold these cookies in years.
Move along angermongers. There’s nothing to see here.
