Cardale Jones declares for the NFL draft
Ohio State quarterback Cardale Jones made it official today. He’s going to the NFL.
Following the team’s close loss to Michigan State on November 21st, Cardale offered this tweet:

…based on that, we knew that he was leaving. Now he’s confirmed that his next move is to enter the 2016 NFL draft.
Zac Jackson of NBC Sports describes what those considering Jones will likely be thinking:
He’ll make a unique evaluation for NFL talent evaluators; he’s a backup quarterback who’s at least 6’5 and has never lost a college start but didn’t play well enough this season to keep his starting job.
Cardale must like his own chances though. Because off he goes…
