Police reminding against freeway panhandling
Columbus Police are taking steps today to remind folks about city laws prohibiting panhandling on freeways. That includes exit ramps…which are considered part of the actual freeway.
Reminder signs have now been posted in three locations:
- NB Rt. 315 exit at Spring Street (where I personally always see people begging)
- I-670 ramp at Dublin Road leading to southbound Rt. 315
- East 5th Ave ramp at James Road
