Preview: What to expect at The Market
Part cafe, part bar and restaurant, part grocery store. The Market Italian Village has a bit of everything. “We wanted products that you can’t find any where else,” owner David Moore told Columbus Business First. Breakfast and coffee begins bright and early at 7 a.m., transitioning to lunch around 10:30 a.m. with deli foods, build your own salads and other items. The restaurant inside the market is under the wing of Chef Julian Menaged most notably known for his work at The Refectory Restaurant & Bistro.

The Market Italian Village—doors open this week
The red statue has been perched upon the top of The Market Italian Village for weeks, and it looks like the restaurant will have its grand opening Thursday. It opened briefly over the weekend for the Urban Living Tour and is now slated for an opening to the public. The Market is focused on bringing the Italian to Italian Village as a place to focus community life with fresh coffee, local produce and meats as well as a other foods. The ingredients will be local sourced and of course (probably because of several neighbors) The Market will also serve local Ohio beers.
