Man and his two puppies escape from Northeast Columbus Blaze

Shortly before 1:30am, fire crews were called to a house fire at 4508 Cliff Ridge Drive.
The house was extensively damaged, but luckily a man and his two, lil’ pups escaped the residence. The homeowner had said he woke to the smell of smoke and grabbed the puppies before leaving the home.
Investigators are on the scene, trying to figure out the cause of the blaze.
The puppies are not suspected.
