The CPD have discovered the identity of an alleged shooter, responsible for the shooting of two teens as they were walking home from a football game.

His name is Malyk Dumas and he is only 19 years old. He’s been arrested and charged with felonious assault.

The victims were a 15-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl. They were shot in the 1500 block of Kohr Place on the 26th of August. They were coming home from the Linden McKinley game.

Coincidentally, Dumas arrived at a local hospital later with a bullet wound in his leg. Police say he was properly identified as the suspect in a photo array, according to NBC4i. He eventually admitted to the shooting when he was interviewed.
