The shortage of pilots hasn’t quite happened yet, but Ohio State is preparing for the projected shortage that might soon come. With the additional help of a $500,000 sponsorship, the university’s Career Eagles program is taking off, according to Columbus Business First. Before kids have to make the gut churning decision of a college major, the program will show them the ins and outs of being a pilot by putting them behind actual flight simulators with an actual pilot. It’s geared toward raising awareness about studying aviation.
