PNC Building Bought Out: New Residences Coming Soon
The PNC building downtown will follow a path similar to the LeVeque Tower, according to the Columbus Dispatch.
Columbus Developer and buyer of the PNC building, Edwards Cos., will renovate the building’s office space and will be adding a residential space and boutique hotel, which is fancy phrasing for small hotel in a cool city.
Since the building is stationed just across from the Statehouse and sits in the crossroads of three major downtown thoroughfares, according to the Dispatch, this makes the building top notch space for company offices.
The current tenants include PNC Bank, Ohio Hospital Association, and Ohio Health, which will be moving soon to their new headquarters.
The developer said to the Dispatch they hope to reserve the top floors for residential units, opening up the market a bit for downtown housing demand. Imagine that view, right?
