Winter gas prices going up by 19 percent
Paying gas bills? Expect that price to go up by nearly 20 percent this winter. Columbia gas announced that prices are expected to go up, and the average customer will be paying around $80 a month as compared to the $67 from last year. Because of last year’s frigid winter, the estimates that Columbia had put out were much lower than in actuality and the company had to revise for that change, the Dispatch reported.
