Worthington just got a whole lot cheesier

Cancel your Friday night plans and put on your stretchy pants ladies and gentlemen, there is a new pizza place in town.

Meet Borgata Pizza Café. As of today, you can satisfy your craving for New York Style pizza closer to home. Borgata serves top-rated Italian favorites such as homemade pasta and meatballs as well as their famous thin crust pizzas you know and love from NYC. These pies have developed street cred among New York natives, claiming it tastes like home, even by the self-proclaimed snobbiest of pizza connoisseurs.

This is the second Borgata for the local owner Ed Bisconti to open in the Columbus area. The new Worthington location has a full bar and patio, perfect to enjoy a glass of red wine and a giant slice of pizza on during the summer. Save room for dessert when you pay Borgata a visit, as it is stocked with your favorite Italian sweets. We’re talking cannolis and ricotta cake.

Their soft opening is today and their grand opening is next week. If you are looking for somewhere to bring your mother this Sunday, consider bringing her to Borgata for an authentic Italian meal. Check them out at 2285 W. Dublin Granville Rd. in Worthington.
