Columbus gal to strut it out at Miss America competition
Step aside, Halle Berry, a new Miss Ohio is in town. Sarah Clapper, 22, of Columbus has been crowned princess Buckeye with standout performances in the talent and lifestyle and fitness categories.
She moves on to compete in the Miss America contest this September.
Clapper almost gave up her dream of becoming Miss Ohio and America when her mother fell ill last year but she persevered.
She also battled through back injuries to compete in her fifth and final Miss Ohio competition. Ain’t nothing gonna stop this buckeye.
