Short North attempting artful makeover of orange eyesores
Beginning February 5, a team of seven Columbus College of Art & Design students will be putting their creative touches on 400 construction barricades throughout the Short North in an effort to make they orange eyesores a little more pleasant.
There’s no doubt the work from the students will be outstanding but could this be a futile attempt by the Short North to make the headache-inducing construction more tolerable?

The construction happening in the Short North will be in queue for the next two years so will this artful effort lessen the blow of inconvenience for pedestrians? Could the talents of our CCAD students be better utilized elsewhere?
