Last year was seriously off the chain when it came to the Franklin County housing market. People were snatching up places left and right at a speed hardly fathomable. Columbus Business First reports 17,286 single-family homes were sold last year which translates into 48 per day which comes about to about one every 30 minutes. And according to Columbus Realtors, 2017 is the highest year on record for homes sold at 32,218.
Wowzers.
The rate of purchase is going up and along with it is the sales price of them—cost of single-family homes have increased 16.6 perecent since 2013.
Yay for all of you who are living through the biggest boom in the Columbus housing market ever.
