Local low-key brewer opens new taproom

Unless you’re a serious local beer connoisseur, you’ve probably never heard of Buck’s Brewing but the low-key brewery is inching out of the shadows. They’ve decided to make their beers easier to find with a taproom in Newark.

Drink Up Columbus reports Buck’s, which opened on January 24, is cozy with it’s Ash slab bar, quirky decor, and BYOF(ood) policy. They daily tap rotation will include a stout, porter, milk stout, Belgian white, pale ale, and IPA which are all produced by new 7-barrel brewing system.

The new Buck’s taproom located at 993 Mt Vernon Rd will be open from 3-10pm on Wednesday and Thursday, and from 3-12pm on Friday and Saturday.
