OSU Women’s B-Ball Aims to Keep the Noise Silent in Illinois
With four games left in the regular season, the #16 Ohio State women’s basketball team (20-6, 9-3) are aiming to remain in the top-25. After a 19-point away loss against the #22 South Florida Bulls this past Sunday, the Buckeyes are looking to get back on-track against Illinois (9-17, 0-12). And as every game impacts national rankings as well as seeding for the forthcoming Big Ten and NCAA tournaments in the coming weeks, a win versus the dreadful Illini (zero conference wins this season) should essentially be an uncontested lay-up. Winning these final few games will keep OSU in the top-tier of the conference but losing a game or two could drop the Buckeyes into the crowded middle of the Big Ten. The Ohio State Buckeyes travel to Urbana–Champaign to play the Illinois Fighting Illini tonight at 8 p.m.

The CBJ Want More Than a Long Island Iced T (Like a W)
Following an impressive 6-1 beat-down of the New Jersey Devils at Nationwide Arena this past weekend, the Blue Jackets (60 points) are set to battle the Islanders (60 points) in New York for a Metro Division showdown. And with six different scorers against the Devils (Anderson, Bjorkstrand, Calvert, Dubois, Foligno, Panarin), Columbus is hoping for the same offensive balance and determined defense against the Islanders. The Columbus Blue Jackets will play the New York Islanders tonight at the Barclays Center on Fox Sports Ohio at 7 p.m.
