Car2Go getting a permanent home in Columbus

Car sharing services are getting it a lot easier than app based car services (granted they are also a completely different breed of new age transportation). Car2Go along with other car sharing programs are about to get the permanent okay from the city. Car2Go’s one year pilot program is finishing up next month, and the city council is set to hold a hearing Sept. 17. Car2Go isn’t quaking in its boots though. “I’ve been told there’s nothing significant that will impact the ability to use (car-sharing),” council spokesman John Ivanic said, according to Columbus Business First. “Let’s face it, people enjoy it.”
