Cleanin’ Up: More Than $3.95 Million Awarded In Clean Ohio Funds
The Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission announced that it will award four Ohio projects with a collective total of $3,950,902 in Clean Ohio Conservation Funds which can be used to buy green space or restore corridors near or along the river front.

According to its website, The Clean Ohio Fund was created to restore, protect, and connect Ohio’s natural and urban places by preserving green space and farmland while also improving outdoor recreation and cleaning up brownfields. The COCF is part of the Clean Ohio program which was approved by voters in 2008.
