Principal shifts story about data scandal

As the city delves further into the data scandal, Pamela Diggs, the former Marion-Franklin High School principal, is now under scrutiny. During her testimony Tuesday she changed her original story and said that she hadn’t had any part in the un-enrolling of students, because at the time she had been on vacation. Before she had said she was simply following orders when rigging the data for students with low test scores. During the day the data was manipulated, she said it was her sister’s birthday and she spent the day with her sister. Diggs also said while under oath that many people had the password to that data as well as her, the Dispatch reported. Her testimony will be help the district decide whether she should be fired or not.
