Community Plates is hosting Food For All 2014 on Thursday. The event is aimed at raising money for Community Plates, which is dedicated to saving left overs (literally). The group takes left overs from restaurants and events and brings it to local food pantries. At their Thursday event they are aiming to raise $15,000 so that they can save 650,000 meals across Columbus. Tickets were originally $40, but that price has been reduced so that anyone can attend Food For All. There will be food from Cameron Mitchell, Jeni’s, Snowville Creamery and Pistachio Vera. The night begins at 6 p.m. at Everal Barn At Heritage Park.
