Mysterious teen girl identified? For now
Officials at Franklin County Children’s Services think they might have figured out who the mysterious teenage girl is that showed up at a foster home. The name she has originally given wasn’t correct (or so they believed when attempting to check it) and she had refused to give any other information. Workers are now trying to contact her family.

Mystery teenage girl in foster home needs to be identified
UPDATE: A 16-year-old girl has shown up at a foster home, but officials have said the name she gave isn’t checking out, and she’s refusing to give any other information about who she is or her background. According to the Dispatch all she has said is she has been wandering around and hasn’t given where she has stayed before that. Officials are calling it a mystery and generally they have never not been able to figure out who a child is unless they are too young to tell them or simply unable to do so.
A teenage girl is staying at a foster home with Franklin County Children Services. Authorities are asking for help identifying the girl. She is 16 years-old but there is no other information available yet. They are asking for help finding her family or someone who can identify her.
