Mulch you glad you’re getting a rebate

Ohio Mulch is giving customers a rebate for a free bag of mulch this spring as part of a settlement deal. Earlier this year, the company was accused of selling under-filled bags and the Department of Agriculture halted its sales after allegations arose and it needed testing to resolve the complaints. Ohio Mulch said the bags were being under-filled because of a faulty machine that has since been removed. The company has also agreed to visually inspect its (new) machine daily and implement other quality assurance steps.

Thank goodness for this rebate, because now I know what I’m getting my hostas for its “Spring Planting Party.”
