Find out what’s replacing Fabian’s in the Short North
As the Short North shuffle continues, a deep-dish pizza mainstay will be replaced by a concept promising “an unforgettable time.”
Pinot’s Palette will open Short North Paint & Sip at 691 N High St., which was formerly occupied by Fabian’s. The Chicago-style pizza bar closed in October.
According to the announcement on the company website, Short North Paint & Sip will be a destination for, “an unforgettable time with friends, drinks, painting, and fun.”

Guests 21+ will be able to purchase beer, wine, and limited spirits at the bar while trying their hand at creative projects. Short North Paint & Sip will offer walk-in classes, but can also be rented out for private parties.
The studio will host up to 75 guests, the main room will have a 50-person capacity, and 25 people can fit in the private room.
