Former Dublin teacher accused of sexually abusing student charged

The former Dublin Scioto High School teacher who was accused of sexually abusing one of his students has been found guilty.

Fifty-three-year-old Gregory R. Lee has been sentenced to 22 years in prison for child pornography and engaging in sexual activity with a minor. He also was handed 20 years of supervised release and a $10,000 fine. Lee’s victim appeared in court with her journal where she documental sexual interactions with Lee. Since the encounters, she continues to suffer from depression and suicidal thoughts, reports This Week News.

Upon initial investigation, the FBI found 234 images of the young girl on Lee’s USB drive including 49 images of her in various stages of nudity. Some of the images were dated as recently as May 2017. He also sent her nude pictures.

The girl’s mother found her daughter’s journal where she had documented explicit descriptions of at least one act of oral sex between she and “Greg Lee.” The girl told investigators that she had been having sex with Lee since November 2016. He would request nudes from her and she would feel “guilt-tripped” into complying.

Lee had been teaching at the Dublin high school for 22 years.
