A season of cute: Dama Gazelle born at the zoo
The zoo has been quite busy with another newcomer joining the ranks at the Columbus Zoo. The first Dama Gazelle to be born at the zoo was welcomed Saturday, but he won’t see too many faces though because the Heart of Africa exhibit closes for the season Nov. 2 and he won’t be out until next season. The animal is critically endangered and the rarest of all the gazelles with only 300 left in the wild.
