City making moves into Franklinton
A few service agencies are taking up precious space in the Arena District, and Monday, the city council unanimously approved $11 million to be funneled into a Franklinton industrial park for those agencies. That money will renovate the area and move snowplows, code-enforcement, construction-management as well as others from downtown to Franklinton by late next year, according to the Dispatch. The spaces that are left in the Arena District following the move are set to be transformed into a commercial area for more businesses and offices.
