Hilliard couple adopting, duped by fake pregnant woman
A woman contacted the Clarks who had been on the adoption search over Facebook to ask if they were still interested in adopting. The Newark woman told them she would be due in May, went into tedious detail about what would happen and how she would even hand the child over, until she claimed the child had died in her womb, according to 10TV. The Clarks though, found out the pregnancy had never even happened and the woman had even duped another couple in South Carolina with a similar story. The woman also did not take any money from the family and has not been charged with any crime.
