Little cars hit the ‘burbs, Car2Go coming to Grandview

The tiny Smart Cars that have begun to set up camp here are less of an anomaly in Columbus now and more of an accepted mode of transportation if you have really short legs. Car2Go could possibly begin expanding into the suburbs as well. Last week, the village council approved an ordinance for the mayor to move forward with Car2Go in the area. The plan is to place drop 50 cars into a seven-mile area in Grandview, Marble Creek and Franklinton. Suburbinites can drive the small rentals by the minute and hour one way, much like Car2Go in the city (not much changing there).
