Plans change in Grandview Yard, not everyone pleased

When Nationwide announced it would be moving its campus to Grandview Yard most saw it as a huge economic boost for the area, but the plans still effect residents and when the original plans shifted at the council meeting Monday, some didn’t take the change well. The change will allow the next phase of the Grandview Yard to begin and the process as a whole to speed up. Some residents attended the city council meeting and expressed their displeasure about the speed at which the process was moving and how there hasn’t been public input, according to ThisWeek Community News.

Nationwide expanding to Grandview, massive campus to come

Nationwide wide is growing past the Arena District and into Grandview Yard. At the city council meeting Monday, the company unveiled its plan to build a monstrous new campus with a 135-room hotel, a conference center as well as office room for about 3,000 employees shifting from the burbs into Grandview Yard, reported Columbus Business First. It’s anything but a little project for the insurance company, especially factoring in the $100 million price on the plan.
