Student knows best, alerted EPA of New Albany violations
Most driving past the construction on Main Street in New Albany get irritated they can’t drive all the way through. College student Henry Kempker gets irritated because EPA violations are happening left and right. The student emailed the violations along with photos of specific problem areas where silt fences and bags were not probably placed or installed to avoid runoff, according to ThisWeek Community News. Since Kempker’s complaint, the construction site is nearly back in accordance with all EPA and city codes.
