*Update* Where in the (614) is John Travolta?
Update: We’ve been doing our best to keep an eye out for signs of John Travolta and the film crew responsible for the movie I Am Wrath (currently shooting in Columbus).
If you happen to catch sight of J-Trav while he’s here in town, snap a pic, tweet it to us with the #614Now and maybe we’ll hook you up with something fun from the 614Now prize closet. (an old VHS copy of Look Who’s Talking Too?) (jj)
Where’s Travolta been?
- According to a tweet from Mission Coffee (Short North), it looks like the main man and crew will be in area this morning (4/6)
Parking is slightly tighter this morning, but we’re warmly welcoming John Travolta and the #iamwrath crew to the neighborhood.

Lights, camera, street closures!
With production starting next week on John Travolta’s I Am Wrath, it looks like Columbus will have more than just Travolta sightings to deal with. Permits for just about everything (like street closures, noise) will be needed for filming, which is why city department representatives met yesterday to go over the exact permits the production crew will need.
The crew will probably post notices/permits around specific (filmed) areas, put something in mailboxes, or even go door-to-door. And aside from street closures, parking could be restricted in certain areas from 8AM to 6PM.
If there are questions about the movie production, you can call the mayor’s office at (614) 645-7671.
