Sweet Carrot to open second sit-down restaurant
As work continues on Sweet Carrot’s first sit-down restaurant in Grandview, the folks behind the popular food truck have announced plans for another.
Worthington City Council on Monday will consider a plan for Sweet Carrot to open up shop at 752 High Street. Restaurant plans include an outdoor patio at the recently redeveloped site. If the deal is approved as expected, Sweet Carrot hopes to open in Worthington next summer.
Meanwhile, work at the previously announced restaurant location at 5th and Grandview in Grandview continues. A summer Kickstarter effort fell short, but Sweet Carrot is moving ahead. They hope to have that property open for business this fall. (jj)
