LeVeque Tower is ready to book it
LeVeque Tower is ready to make Columbus an historic stay. It was announced last year that the iconic downtown building would become part of Marriott International’s Autograph Collection. And it looks like you can start planning your staycation; the hotel is expected to start construction this fall and open for Spring 2016. The boutique hotel will feature 150 rooms, with a check-in and concierge desk on the ground floor and an upscale restaurant designed by (Atlanta’s) Concentrics.
I’ve said it before, but I’m so ready for a staycation in all of these new gorgeous Columbus boutique hotels. I just have one question: what’s the room service gonna be like? (deb)

Part of LeVeque Tower to transform into hotel
Ever wanted to sleep in the LeVeque Tower? Now’s your chance. First Hospitality Group Inc. has announced that with two Columbus developers, it will convert a portion of the LeVeque Tower into a hotel. According to Columbus Business First the hotel will be a 155-room Autograph Collection hotel, a boutique hotel brand with Marriott International. Another part of the plan for the downtown tower is to refurbish some of the offices and add apartments. Travelers (or the relaxation seeking local) can expect the hotel to be open by early 2015.
