Zingers, Ding Dongs yanked from shelves

It’s recall mania. Yet another line of food products have been pulled from shelves–and these ones were supposed to survive a nuclear apocalypse.

Only a few days after General Mills issued a 10 million pound flour recall, snack cake maker Hostess is yanking Ding Dongs and Zingers from store shelves.

The mass-baker is citing peanut residue in flour as the reason for the recall.

Over 710,000 cases of snacks are being recalled due to two complaints of allergic reactions.

Customers with peanut allergies are encouraged to discard or return their products.
