Campus Crime — CPD Catches Alleged Serial Robber

According to NBC4i, The CPD have jailed a man for allegedly robbing and assaulting several female OSU students at gunpoint.

Terry Powell, 29, allegedly snatched a student’s phone and purse on Waldeck Avenue this past Saturday close to midnight.

A few minutes later on Norwich Avenue — 12 minutes walking — Powell confronted 3 female students at gunpoint, making demands for their phones and money. He allegedly struck one of the victims with the gun.

While responding to the first robbery, Police observed the second incident and Powell was arrested after a foot chase to Indianola.
