Ohio State Fair makes list of top state fairs
Though Columbus has been receiving recognition for its hot apartment scene and job availability in 2016, one of Ohio’s most recent accolades comes from its roots in agriculture.
The Ohio State Fair was just named number four in the nation by Real Property Management on their list of the nation’s Top 5 State Fairs.
According to the article, the Ohio State Fair houses one of the world’s longest portable sky rides, in addition to some state fair oddities, like camel rides, a tattoo competition and “Zombie Acres,” where fair goers get to protect Ohio from a zombie infestation.
Of course, the Ohio State Fair faced some tough competition, like the Minnesota State Fair, the Iowa State Fair and the Texas State Fair, which sits at the number one spot.
This year’s Ohio State Fair lasts from July 27 until August 7.
