Local teen crushes High St, then high fashion in NYC

Whether it’s High Street or high fashion, MollyKate Cline of Worthington is crushing it.

At only 19 years old, Cline can say she’s had a collection featured at New York Fashion Week. It’s called ‘Histoire de Dieu’  and is a 6 piece couture line that takes the audience through Creation, The Fall, Redemption and Restoration, to tell the story of The Bible, Cline’s mother Christine told 614NOW.

She channels inspiration for her designs from issues she holds dear like feminism, suicide, and her faith. Cline’s father took his own life when she was a young girl. She has let this experience define her in a positive way by dedicating her time to advocate for mental health and suicide prevention. Cline also delegates time as a Bible Study Leader at CCAD where she is a sophomore fashion design student.

Forging ahead, Cline aspires to have her own independent fashion line. We’d say she has a pretty solid start.
