Park Street complex peacing out this weekend
After seven long years of dancing on picnic tables to live music while taking shots out of test tubes, Park Street Saloon, Park Street Patio, and the Social Room are all closing up.
It’s been a long time coming as Chris Corso, the property owner, has been saying for years that he wants to do away with the bars and put up an AC Hotel in their place.
Here’s what Park Street Complex posted on their Facebook page:
The original nightlife destination in Columbus Ohio is closing its doors forever to make way for a new hotel concept…We would like to sincerely thank everyone that has supported us over the years! Let’s relive the glory days in the Arena District one last time this weekend! Social and Patio will be featuring drink specials, a Big Ten Championship game watch party on Saturday, and the most talented DJ’s in the city on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday… See you there!
ColumbusUnderground has the full scoop on Corso.
But it wouldn’t be Park Street if it wasn’t going out with a bang. This Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, the three bar complex is throwing a massive going-away party. Get ready to throw down and give Park Street Patio, Cantina, and Social the rowdy send-off they deserve.
End of an era! Come kick it this weekend! pic.twitter.com/P0Tw1QoSUc
