Local family returns from Las Vegas after mass shooting

The Hall family from Powell were on a vacation in Vegas to attend the Route 91 country music festival when they found themselves in extremely life-threatening circumstances.

Kimberly, Chris, and Adam Hall were watch the concert with the Mandalay hotel directly behind them, reports NBC4i. When they first heard the gunshots, they thought it was the speakers malfunctioning but soon realized they had to run for their lives.

The Halls have since returned safely to Columbus.

Chris said the sounds of the automatic riffle firing is something he will never forget and never wants to hear again.
