No more getting chocolate wasted in the Short North
After seven years of tickling Columbus’ sweet tooth while simultaneously poking our livers, Le Chocoholique is closing its doors. According to a Facebook post on the business’ wall, the reason for closing is two-pronged: the rent went up and the liquor license was set to expire.
Le Chocoholique was best known for their espresso, chocolate martinis, and truffles, including a few made with local spirits like Brothers Drake and OYO.
This is the noticed posted on their website.
“Update: After seven years turning their passion for chocolate into an entirely unique form of art and delight in the Short North District of Columbus, Le Chocoholique’s store front is now closing to focus on their partnership with local businesses and corporate partners. Le Chocoholique’s signature truffles are still available in the Columbus area at several retail sites as they continue to grow and are still available online.”
You can continue to patronize Le Chocoholique via their online store.
