A cut above: Jeff Ruby’s steps up to help families of fallen officers

Hat’s off to the new steakhouse in town for stepping up to show its support for the community. Jeff Ruby’s will be donating one night’s proceeds from all four of its restaurants to the families of Officer Morelli and Officer Joering, the two officers killed in the line of duty recently.

If you dine in on Sunday, March 4 between 4 and 9pm at the new Columbus restaurant at 89 E Nationwide Blvd or you’re out of town in Cincinnati, Louisville, or Nashville, 100 percent of your check will benefit the Morelli and Joering families.

“Along with the rest of the nation, we were heartbroken to learn of this tragedy.” said Jeff Ruby. “These heroes made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our community, basically responding to what they thought was a call for help.”
