Watch: Westerville police procession draws thousands, halts traffic
Update: The funeral procession for Westerville police officers Anthony Morelli and Eric Joering garnered support from the entire city. As both bodies of the fallen officers were transported to funeral homes people flocked to the streets to pay their respects and vehicles halted by the side of the road as the convoy passed.

02/12/2018: To pay respects to the two Westerville police officers killed in the line of duty Saturday, the public is invited to line the streets during the funeral home escort. The procession for Officer Anthony Morelli and Officer Eric Joering is scheduled to leave the Franklin county Coroner’s Officer at 11am today and travel north along SR-315, then east on I-270, and exiting on SR-3, reports 10TV.
Officer Morelli’s body will be taken to Moreland Funeral Home at 55 E. Schrock Road and Officer Joering’s body will be taken to Hill Funeral Home at 220 S. State Street.

ROUTE CLARIFICATION: The community may line the streets and pay tribute to Officers Morelli and Joering along Huber Village Boulevard; south Spring Road between Huber Village Boulevard and east Schrock Road; east Schrock Road between south Spring Road and south State Street and south State Street between east Schrock Road and Hill Funeral Home, 220 S State St. Approximate time of arrival in the City of Westerville will be 11:30 a.m.
