“Do you think I want to shoot an 11-year-old?” BB gun close call
Two kids playing with a BB gun turned into a close call with a local police officer over the weekend.
Officer Peter Casuccio was called to an undisclosed location following a report of two black boys, one 11 and one 13, flashing a gun on Saturday.
The 11-year old quickly pulled the gun out of his waistband and dropped it on the ground.
Casuccio then realized it was a BB gun.

“That thing looks real bro. You should be sorry and you should be scared,” Officer Casuccio tells the apologetic boys, according to ABC6.
“I didn’t want him to shoot,” the 11-year-old says.
“I know you didn’t want me to shoot,” Casuccio responded. “Do you think I want to shoot an 11-year-old? Do you think I want to shoot a 13-year-old?
“This is getting kids killed all over the country,” Casuccio tells them.
Upon taking the boy home to a very worried mother, Casuccio told the boy, “I could’ve killed you. I want you to think about that tonight when you go to to bed. You could be gone. Everything you want to do in this life could’ve been over.”
