Battelle hacking 260 Columbus jobs this week

Run for the hills, Battelle is laying off 260 Columbus employees this week. The purge is an effort to reduce costs and make the company more competitive in the market, reports 10TV. 

The layoffs were announced Monday morning and took many employees off guard. Employees will receive severance packages and be able to hang on to their insurance for the rest of the month.
