Producer Jeffrey Seller, the Columbus Association for the Performing Arts, and Broadway in Columbus have announced a digital lottery for $10 Hamilton tickets.
Yes, you read that right. Ten bucks for a ticket to see the show that set the record for Tony nominations (16 and winning 11 of those), and was also the recipient of the 2016 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album and the 2016 Pulitzer Prize for Drama.
Forty tickets will be sold for every performance at $10 each. The digital lottery will open at 11:00 am EST on Sunday, January 27, for tickets to the Tuesday, January 29, performance.
Subsequent digital lotteries will begin two days prior to each performance.

Download the official Hamilton app or visit http://hamiltonmusical.com/lottery to register.
NOTE: You won’t see Columbus listed in the locations until Sunday, January 27.
The lottery will open at 11:00 am EST two days prior to the performance date and will close for entry at 9:00 am the day prior to the performance.
Winner and non-winner notifications will be sent at approximately 11:00 am the day prior to the performance via email and text message.
Winners will be sent customized links to purchase tickets by credit card the day prior to the performance. Tickets not claimed by 4:00 pm the day prior to the performance will be forfeited.
Each winning entrant may purchase up to two tickets.
No purchase necessary to enter the lottery.
Lottery tickets may be picked up at Will Call beginning two hours prior to the performance with a valid, non-expired photo ID that matches the name used to enter. Tickets are non-transferable.
