After expanding “too soon,” Sweet Carrot will be closing two of its locations. But rest assured, beef brisket corn cake fans, the flagship location in Grandview will remain open.

“We have always thrived at our Grandview location,” said Angela Petro, CEO of Sweet Carrot.  “The numbers there prove that Sweet Carrot has a bright future.  We have to refocus on our roots, evaluate what we do really well, and how we can communicate that outside of our core audience in Central Columbus. We grew before we had that figured out.”

Petro and her team will refocus operations in Grandview, where numbers increase year after year according to a release, and work on growth there and through catering.

“Polaris and Dublin are hard markets with a lot of awesome restaurant choices.  I am grateful to our customers on the north side – you deserve a good, local dining option and I hope you’ll come see us down on 5th Avenue,” Petro said.

Many employees from Sweet Carrot Polaris and Sawmill will be offered positions at the catering company or at the Grandview restaurant.

Petro revealed more in a Facebook post. Read it below:
