It’s official! Second North Market location announced

After months of planning and speculation, North Market has officially announced its second location in Dublin’s Bridge Park! The nonprofit organization that manages North Market has reached an agreement with Crawford Hoying, the development company behind the massive mixed-use project that consists of apartments, condos, restaurants, retail shops, office space, hotel and events center.

Did you know that the current North Market is the only remaining operational location out of the four public markets (north, east, west, and central) that opened circa 1876? At the new 20-stall market, North Market intends to continue its 143-year mission of offering a unique blend of prepared foods, beer/wine/spirits, gifts, confections, baked goods, and fresh produce, meats, and dairy to the Dublin community.

In addition, the new market will be able to accommodate both small and large events and offers direct indoor and outdoor access.

“This is a tremendous opportunity for the historic North Market to continue its mission of incubating small businesses and celebrating best in class culinary experiences,” said Rick Harrison Wolfe, North Market Executive Director. “We are excited about expanding our footprint in the Central Ohio region.”

Currently under construction in the newest phase of Bridge Park, the market will be located on the ground floor at 6736 Longshore St. The new public market is slated to open its doors sometime in 2020. Stay tuned for the branding and merchant mix to be announced in the coming weeks.

North Market is now reviewing merchants to operate at their location at Bridge Park. Interested vendors are encouraged to learn more and apply here.
